Hey everyone,
So here's the first list of things I've tried to do to make extra money:
1) Baking for Christmas. I posted an ad on our local facebook garage sale group. I offered to make perogies, cabbage rolls, and baking trays. This was good for a few weeks, I made about $150 after costs, which compared to the amount of work it took was not a lot, but it was a lot of fun!
2) I'm currently trying the adsense, putting an ad on my blog to see if it will actually pay and how long it takes to pay (click on the ad for fun so I can find out!!! :-) ) I'll keep you posted on how well that works.
3) I've done music lessons and child care as well but this takes a very firm time commitment and I am looking for something that is a light commitment or just something to do while I'm unemployed for the next month!
4) Get a casual job at a daycare/school/etc. This is pretty decent cash, you go, do your job, and come home. The only problem is often when they say casual, they actually mean part-time so you really need to stay on top of when they schedule you as often they won't ask!
5) Mary-Kay or any home party sales. This is a really tough gig. I'm not the type of person to bug people to have parties because I know most people hate them! It's great though if you want to stock up on make-up, tupperware, or something for yourself for a lower cost!
Any more ideas??? Please comment away! I'll keep looking and post any other options I've found.
