Well this Christmas week has been wonderful! We spent lots of time with Family! Over Christmas our families all did slightly different things to try and keep costs down for everyone and concentrated on spending time together instead.

My side of the family each bought a used board game that we played together during Christmas and then had a contest to see who could raise the most money in pure change! No cheating and changing out $100 bill, it had to be the extra pocket change. We ended up with over $100 in change and my brother and his wife brought the most change so they get to take all the money and donate it to a charity of their choice. (It was our way of giving to a charity without starting a war as to which charity it would go to)

My husbands side of the family typically doesn't spend a lot but with his moms side we did pictures. We gave family pictures that were taken at our wedding and his sister is giving pictures of their family (with a brand new baby girl) in January.

Ahhhh, now with Christmas over it's time to clean house! I've already sold a few things on our garage sale facebook site for the city and am going through all of our stuff and packing what we won't need any time soon, throwing away the junk, selling the good stuff, and donating the ok stuff :-)

Gotta make ends meet until I start the new job so any other suggestions would be cool! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
